Bassoonist Elaine Walters hails from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she studied biology at the University of New Mexico. After graduating from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, with a Master of Music degree, she attended the University of Nebraska--‐Lincoln as a Doctoral student. Currently she plays and teaches in the greater Seattle area.
